Chemical Composition/Ingredients
The GHS is an acronym for The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals. The GHS is a system for standardizing and harmonizing the classification and labelling of chemicals. Chemicals are associated with codes that define their health, physical and environmental hazards. This universal hazard communication system was developed to ensure that employers, employees and consumers are provided with adequate, practical, reliable and comprehensible information on the hazards of chemicals, so that they can take effective preventive and protective measure for their own health and safety.

ChemicalChemical Abstracts Service Registry Number is a unique identifier for a chemical and its synonyms. CAS numbers identify the chemical, but not its concentration or specific mixture. CAS Registry Numbers are assigned by the Chemical Abstracts Service, a division of the American Chemical Society. For more information: www.cas.org

We have assigned "ID numbers" (with 6 leading zeros or nines, e.g., 000000-xx-x , 888888-xx-x) or 999999-xx-x) for blends and chemicals that do not have CAS numbers. Is a seven-digit number (xxx-xxx-x) assigned by the European Commission to chemicals contained in three inventories:
EC No.
EINECS is the European Inventory of Existing Commercial Substances and its EINECS numbers are displayed as 2xx-xxx-x.
ELINCS is the European List of Notified Chemical Substances that was available after September 18, 1981 and its ELINCS numbers are displayed as 4xx-xxx-x.

EU Hazard Classification Directive 67/548/EECHazard Symbols are used to classify dangerous substances.
Hazard SymbolsRisk Phrases, denoted as a series of numbers preceded by the letter "R" indicate the nature of the special risks, in accordance with Annex III to Directive 67/548/EEC (see Article 23(2)(d) Directive 67/548/EEC). The numbers are separated by either a comma to denote separate statements concerning special risks, or an oblique stroke (/) to denote a combined statement, in a single sentence, of the special risks.
Risk PhrasesSafety Phrases, denoted as a series of numbers preceded by the letter "S" indicating the recommended safety precautions, in accordance with Annex IV to Directive 67/548/EEC. The numbers are separated by either a comma to denote separate statements concerning safety precautions, or an oblique stroke (/) to denote a combined statement, in a single sentence, of the safety precautions.

Acute health effects
From MSDS HEALTH HAZARD DATA Route(s) of Entry: Inhalation (Y); Skin (Y); Eye (Y); Ingestion (Y) Health Hazards: Inhalation – At elevated temperatures or in enclosed spaces, mist or vapor may irritate the mucous membranes in the nose, throat, bronchi, and lungs. Eye - Short-term contact with liquid, mist, or vapor may cause irritation. Symptoms include stinging, watering, redness, and swelling. Skin - Symptoms include pain, sensation of heat, discoloration, swelling and blistering. Repeated or prolonged contact may produce irritation and inflammation. Ingestion - Can cause laxative effect. If aspirated into the lungs, liquid can cause severe lung damage or death. Large volumes can cause generalized depression, headache, drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure: Pre-existing skin disorders, central nervous system disease, respiratory system, liver and/or kidney. -
Chronic health effects
From MSDS Prolonged and/or repeated skin contact may cause irritation and inflammation. Symptoms include defatting, redness, dryness, blistering eczema-like lesions, scaly dermatitis, and/or more serious skin disorders. Ingestion and subsequent aspiration into the lungs may cause pneumatocele (lung cavity) formation and chronic lung dysfunction. -
Carcinogenicity
From MSDS NTP (N); IARC Monographs (N); OSHA Regulated (N) -
Handling information
From MSDS Avoid water contamination and extreme temperatures to minimize product degradation. Empty containers may contain product residues that can ignite with explosive force. Do not pressurize, cut, weld, braze, solder, drill, grind or expose empty containers to flames, sparks, heat, or other potential ignition sources. Keep container closed when not in use. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Do not store with strong oxidizing agents. Do not store at elevated temperatures or in direct sunlight. Other Precautions: KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN! -
Disposal information
From MSDS Determine if the material is hazardous waste at time of disposal. Transportation, treatment, storage, and disposal of waste material must be in conducted in accordance with RCRA regulations. State and local regulations may be more restrictive. Contact the RCRA/Superfund Hotline at 800-424-9346 for guidance concerning case specific disposal issues. -
First Aid
From MSDS Inhalation - Move victim to fresh air. If not breathing, immediately begin rescue breathing. If breathing is difficult, a qualified individual should administer 100% humidified oxygen. Seek medical attention immediately. Eye – Check for and remove contact lenses. Flush eyes with cool, clean, low-pressure water while occasionally lifting and lowering eyelids. Seek medical attention if excessive tearing, redness, or pain persists. Skin - Remove contaminated clothing. Wipe off excess material. Wash exposed skin with mild soap and water. Seek medical attention if tissue appears damaged or if irritation persists. Ingestion – Do not induce vomiting unless directed by a physician. Do not give anything to drink unless directed by a physician. If significant amounts are swallowed or irritation or discomfort occurs, seek medical attention immediately.
